The playground project is focusing efforts to raise funds in order to build a new playground facility for the boys and girls of Buena Vista. Our team has recently been given all access to the community center and we have already begun a total transformation of the property. In July a team from the US came and installed basketball goals in conjunction with the soccer goals that already existed. The courts were cleaned, repainted and this month we kicked off our first basketball league for the boys and girls and will be adding many other activities in the near future, most of which will take place at this community area. Actual Playground Set We believe the children deserve much more and also that this would enhance our ability to reach this community with the love of Jesus. We’ve already experienced new life being breathed into this village with the laughter and smiles of the children and families and hope to make this project a reality in the upcoming months.
