We are often asked about our involvement in the community. For example, we might hear, "What does COTW do for underprivileged children?" Or, "How is COTW involved in caring for the homeless?"
These are good questions.
When we started COTW years ago we made a decision not to replicate ministries that are already doing an excellent job meeting specific needs in our community. Instead, we have chosen to funnel human and financial resources into a handful of organizations that are doing a far better job within their spheres of influence than we could ever do. Below you will find our current list of what we refer to as Compassion Ministries.
By clicking on a name, you will be taken directly to the ministry's website if they have one. If you find an organization that is addressing a need that captures your heart, please contact it directly to find out about the opportunities for personal ministry. And don't forget to consider how your entire community group can get involved.
